Birmingham cop busted for felony theft

BIRMINGHAM, AL - A Birmingham police officer was arrested Saturday on two felony charges.

Tony Noble Williams was arrested Friday on warrants obtained by the Jefferson County District Attorney's office.

Williams was charged with first-degree theft of property and ethics law violation. No details have been released regarding the allegations.

Williams was booked into the Jefferson County Jail was released on $10,000 bond.
